My "OMG these rock" pancakes!

Okay time to dish a little. Since about April this year, my husband and I have been following a completely plant-based diet. This is something we had been leaning towards for some time, I had been vegetarian for most of my life and recently had begun eating a little meat and seafood, but then something changed... First I read a book by John Mackey titled The Whole Food Diet   and it really opened my eyes to just how good plant-based eating was for the body (if done correctly!) and then we both read Dr. Michael Greger's book How not to die and from that day we swore off animal products for the time being. I don't know if things will change, I do not know if this is a lifelong commitment or something we will do on and off.  However, we both feel great right now and it has been a good decision for Us !  I think it is pretty clear, based on numerous studies, that eating less animal products is better for the body and for the environment.
